" Helps with hyperpigmentation! "
I LOVE this soap! It’s smells great and is very gentle ( which I worried about because of such a refreshing citrus smell), but most importantly it WORKS! I have suffered from hyperpigmentation since an adolescent ( I’m 28) and have tried various products. This is the FIRST product I’ve tried that rendered such great results without irritating my skin and causing dryness.
I first purchased this soap in March and have used it morning and night religiously ( it is now June). My routine consist of washing my face first with a goatmilk and tea tree oil bar soap ( Good for acne prone skin: I purchased it from somethingnikkibathhouse.com. ), following up with the koji acid soap, Dickinson witchazel toner, & then mosturizing with 100% rosehip seed oil ( I also apply sunscreen every morning before leaving the house).
Per other reviews, I suggest letting it sit on your face for two minutes before rinsing. I also like to sit in front of my steamer sometimes during that time to allow the Koji acid to penetrate deeper into my skin. The bars also last a very long time which is great. I’m sooooo glad I decided to try this product, it has really been a game changer and made me hopeful for truly clear skin! Of course process is not immediate but the results definitely keep me motivated to continue with consistency.
