Why is it Koji White?
Actually, it began more than 8 years ago. I found the trend in Thailand that Thai consumers love whitening products. Then, I did some research and survey in the modern market in order to seek for products that could respond to the high demand of Thai consumers till I found a substance called Kojic acid has the ability to brighten and whiten the skin directly. Afterwards, I started to do many experiments and research how Kojic acid came from and where is the resource of Kojic acid. Finally, I knew that this substance is prevalent in Japan and ensile from sake until becoming Kojic acid which is mostly used in cosmetics. As a result of this, I tried to bring the Kojic acid producing the product and the first product is a soap. In part of the name Koji White, I have mixed and combined the 2 words including Koji from Kojic acid and White from whitening, so, it became Koji White and I used this word as the name of our brand.
How does Koji White start?
After I knew the direction and the main key of the brand which is Kojic acid, I tried hard to contact many manufacturers and suppliers who were capable of producing a glycerin soap with Koji Acid as a main ingredient because this substance was not popular on that day. Then, I ordered the first lot of Kojic acid soap and after receiving the first lot, I sold them on AMAZON and got great feedback from consumers, especially foreign customers. So, the Kojic acid soap of Koji White became the hero product rapidly. As well as we tried to expand the product line of Koji acid to be a lotion and skincare consecutively.
What is the belief of Koji White?
The belief in Koji White came from my passion which is vegetarianism and would like to produce world-friendly products. So, this affects every product of Koji White is paraben-free and cruelty-free. Besides, the ingredients of the Koji White product did not contain the SLS and used coconut oil instead. Presently, I tried to develop the ingredients of every product from the belief and core value of Koji White which became vegan products, and reduced plastic use.
